Application for Funding

Artists for Human Rights Trust is a non-profit organisation formed with 2 principal aims in mind:
  • To promote, develop and encourage artists and artistic endeavour, specifically in the visual arts, in South Africa
  • To promote the use of the arts in creating a human rights culture and in fostering human rights education in South Africa

With these principal purposes in mind, Artists for Human Rights Trust invites applications for funding for projects, which seek to support the above aims. Applicants to the Trust should complete the attached form in full and submit the completed document to the Trust.

The Trust meets quarterly to consider applications and to review projects already receiving funding.  Should a proposal be adopted by the Trust, the funding will be released in instalments pending receipt of a report at each stage of the project's development. The final instalment is only issued once the project is successfully completed and a final report submitted.
